New in ventilation technology
Saturday, 4 May 2019, 11:10 am, Großer Saal (ground floor), simultaneous translation into English
Ventilation is a key factor in a successful Passive House project and new products and processes are constantly being developed and evolving. In this session a number of outcomes from recent Passive House Institute research projects will be presented to attendees and this will complement the project experience that will also be presented during this session.
For large multi-resident apartment buildings, one of the key design issues is what sort of ventilation scheme to use; centralised or de-centralised. In this session, this critical topic will be investigated and the operational experience of a number of projects will be presented. The topic of façade integrated ventilation systems and how they affect the overall efficiency of a project, as well as how they affect the retrofit process itself, will be presented in this session.
